The new hugging SERVUS from one-metre distance
The worst is – so we think full of optimism behind our face masks – overcome. But the clocks of the Minister of Health continue to strike caution, mask, distance. But we want – like Disney's Olaf – "relaxing in the summer sun".
The new slogan of the Tyrolian Tourist Board is waking us up from this banned summer feeling. "Es geht bergauf“ (Uphill it goes). Hotel tourism will open again on 29 May. Thanks to the forthcoming amendment to the relaxation ordinance with "safe hospitality". A similarly difficult term as "social distancing". But even in COVID-19 times short messages are essential. No unmasked guests and hosts at hotel entrances and receptions. One-metre distance is the new SERVUS hug.
The wellness oases are bubbled up and disinfected. Did you know that the risk of infection in bathing water is low with appropriate quality management? So, get into the water. The lakes and bathing establishments are waiting for the rush, but our Minister of Health is not pushing it. Summer 2020 means minimum distance, more hygiene, more space on the lawn (10 m²) and much more. In addition, all tourism employees are to be tested across the board and on a regular basis - this is how Austria, a particularly safe travel destination, is attracting visitors. So, come to the Alpine Republic. And should you already be there: don't move, because the best holiday is so close.
One more word about the fixed cost grant. It has been possible to apply for it since 20 May. There was confusing criticism right up to the end, but the critics were referring to an old draft that had been changed last minute. Now everything is bliss. We also rescue companies in difficulties (deadline 31 December 2019) - just don't be insolvent. Your digital sales loss and fixed cost calculator does the rest. At the push of a button, Artificial Intelligence 2.021 will make it possible to easily evaluate certain time periods in retrospect, e.g. from March 16 to April 15, 2020. Until then you can calculate it yourself, and all this effort without a legal claim to the grant.
