Hemma started her career with Schönherr and has been with Binder Grösswang since 2012 where she became an attorney at law in 2015. Hemma studied law at Karl-Franzens University Graz (Mag. iur.) at Griffith University, Brisbane in Australia (AEN scholarship recipient). She received her PhD from the University of Vienna (Dr. iur.) in 2010 and obtained a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) from the King’s College London in 2011.
