Summer/winter internship / student placement (long-term placement)
Yes, it is possible to join us as a student intern whilst studying law. We welcome applications from committed students who wish to apply their knowledge in practice and gain exciting insights into day-to-day life at the firm. We generally offer positions involving 8 to 25 hours per week within one of our teams. It is also possible to work with us whilst undertaking court practice.
Our legal summer internship usually lasts one month. During this time, you will be part of one of our practice groups and gain in-depth insights into a specific area of commercial law. We offer internship places in both Vienna and Innsbruck: All our practice groups are represented in Vienna, whilst our Tyrol office specialises in IP/IT and public commercial law. The internship begins with a meeting of all interns in our conference area. There, the HR team welcomes you and gives a general presentation covering the key information about day-to-day life at Binder Grösswang. Interns then get to know their team before their personal induction begins with their buddy from the practice group. The initial phase is further supplemented by training videos. In addition to fascinating insights into legal practice, the internship also offers plenty of opportunities for interaction, such as during shared lunches, informal chats with lawyers, or getting to know other interns. Furthermore, exciting lectures take place during the three summer months as part of our Summer Academy. To round things off, we invite all our interns to our Internship Closing Event to bring our time together to a close in a relaxed atmosphere.
