Company culture

The key to our success? Our team.

Together, we provide the best possible service for our clients – with a clear focus and a high level of expertise.

For us, the highest quality of work and a genuine enjoyment of what we do go hand in hand. Our team consists of a diverse group of individuals who are keen to take on responsibility and work with enthusiasm to achieve outstanding results for our national and international clients. Whether in legal advice or in our business services: for us, teamwork is the key to success.

What sets us apart?

At Binder Grösswang, we combine over 60 years of experience with innovative ideas and continuous development. A stable corporate structure within a stable industry offers long-term prospects as well as scope for professional and personal development.

Outstanding talents work with us every day to make a real difference. We are convinced that a supportive corporate culture is a key factor for success. At Binder Grösswang, we act as committed team players – both within the firm and in our collaborative partnerships with our clients.

How do we work?

At Binder Grösswang, we place great importance on actively involving young colleagues in legal work from the very start, entrusting them with responsibility and recognising their achievements. Work is carried out not only within one’s own specialist team, but also through close collaboration across practice groups. In doing so, we draw on a wealth of experience and in-depth specialist knowledge. Long-serving colleagues shape our day-to-day work with their experience, openness and enthusiasm for passing on their know-how. New employees receive support from a buddy right from the start to help them settle in. In addition, everyone benefits from practical training on the systems used in the firm. We also support Associates through our in-house training series “Horizonte”, which features workshops and lectures on specialist topics and soft skills designed to prepare them specifically for the bar exam.

Curious about the people behind Binder Grösswang? In our quick Q&A series “Kurz Gefragt”, some of our staff offer a personal insight into their day-to-day life at the firm. They talk about motivation, career paths, team culture and the little moments that shape their working day.

Balance? An important part of our culture.

Here, we foster a team spirit and friendships that extend beyond the working day. Celebrations, after-work get-togethers and lunches are just as much a part of our working life as sporting activities. Particularly popular: SuperCycle, padel tennis, football and running.

Diversity? It’s what defines us.

Different professional perspectives, experiences and backgrounds come together here and shape our daily collaboration. We see this diversity as a strength, as it encourages exchange, enriches our working relationships and has a positive impact on our work in many ways. Openness and mutual respect are a given.

What drives us?

Our commitment to the highest professional standards and our total dedication to our clients. Together, we combine our strengths to achieve the best possible outcome as a firm.

Collaboration partners

We view joint events and collaborations with our various partners as a great asset. They provide valuable inspiration and forge strong connections.

ELSA Austria

ELSA is the world’s largest politically independent non-profit organisation run by and for students and young lawyers. The organisation not only offers a platform for professional and personal development, but also promotes exchange between its members and legal practitioners across Europe, and prepares members for a global working environment through international projects.

Die Paragraphinnen

The network was founded by committed female lawyers to empower women in the legal sector and promote equal opportunities. The network prepares young female lawyers for professional challenges and offers a platform for the exchange of ideas, expertise and future prospects.

Legal Literacy Project

The Legal Literacy Project association operates throughout Austria with the aim of promoting basic legal knowledge within society. This involves organising talks and workshops that present legal topics in a way that is both accessible and engaging for different age groups. Speakers include law and business law students, as well as recent graduates who voluntarily promote legal knowledge within the community.

Vienna Law Clinics

The Vienna Law Clinic at the University of Vienna offers free advice to people who cannot afford legal advice through other means. Advice is offered in three areas: Refugee Law, Start-ups and Consumer Law. Students can participate in the programme by first completing a course in the relevant specialist area, followed by practical work on real-life cases. Under professional supervision and guidance, including from experienced law firms and NGOs, students thus acquire practical skills in dealing with those seeking legal assistance.
