The government program 2020 - 2024. What the economy can expect to see
On January 9, 2020, Binder Grösswang invited guests to its own premises to discuss "The government program 2020 - 2024. What the economy can look forward to".
Full house at Binder Grösswang. Numerous interested parties followed the invitation to the event "The government program 2020 - 2024, what the economy can look forward to" on Thursday morning. The specific reason for the event was the 326-page government program recently agreed upon by the Turquoise Party (Die neue Volkspartei) and the Green Party (Die Grünen).
The two Binder Grösswang partners Johannes Barbist and Christian Wimpissinger pick out the aspects of the government program that are particularly important for the economy in order to discuss them with the audience.
As Johannes Barbist emphasizes, the measures for climate protection & energy are very ambitious: "The climate-friendly restructuring of the economy is to be achieved through regulatory intervention, a modified subsidy policy, tax incentives and voluntary measures. Barbist himself is eagerly awaiting the 'Renewable Expansion Act', as it is intended to push the further expansion of renewable energies such as water, wind and PV.
"With the tax law there are reliefs, which carry turquoise handwriting, but there are also ambitious goals, which are to be ascribed to green impulses - a planned CO2 pricing for instance, incentives for CO2-free company cars or a KESt exemption for ecological investments", explains Christian Wimpissinger.
The early bird seminar series is aimed at an interested audience of experts who want to expand their know-how and bring it up to date. Experts from changing areas of business law discuss current changes in the law and innovations and their applicability and effects in everyday business life.
