Binder Grösswang awarded CEE Legal Matters’ 2025 “Deal of the Year – Austria”

At the CEE Legal Matters Awards in Bucharest, Binder Grösswang was honoured for advising Aptiv on the sale of its stake in TTTech Auto, a transaction that won the CEE Legal Matters 2025 ‘Deal of the Year: Austria’ for NXP Semiconductors. The winning transaction concerns the sale of Aptiv PLC's stake in TTTech Auto AG to the Dutch chip manufacturer NXP Semiconductors N.V.

Binder Grösswang's Corporate/M&A team, consisting of partners Thomas Schirmer and Christoph Schober, advised Aptiv in close cooperation with Clifford Chance in Munich. Partners Mark Aschenbrenner and Volkmar Bruckner as well as associate Mona Fuchs were involved.

Thomas Schirmer, Corporate/M&A Partner at Binder Grösswang, commented: "The award is a great recognition of our work on complex, cross-border transactions. It confirms our commitment to delivering first-class results in technology-heavy mandates and providing our clients with solutions that have a measurable impact."

Christoph Schober, Corporate/M&A Partner at Binder Grösswang adds: "The fact that Aptiv relied on Binder Grösswang in both the investment and divestment processes confirms our approach: We work seamlessly across locations and disciplines, setting standards at the highest level while at the same time finding practical ways to move the deal forward. It is precisely this mixture of team spirit, excellence and pragmatism that has made the success possible."
