Anian Gruber is counsel at law in the firm´s Regulatory Team and has experience in advising national and international clients.
He focuses on

Anian Gruber started his career at Oberhammer Rechtsanwälte and has been with Binder Grösswang since 2018. He studied law (Mag. iur.) and sports science (BSc) at the University of Innsbruck. Anian also completed his doctoral studies (Dr.iur.) at the University of Innsbruck in 2024. His doctoral thesis dealt with the European regulation of supply chains. He passed the Austrian bar exam in 2020.
Anian regularily publishes on current legal issues in legal journals, particularly in the field of regulatory law. He also gives lectures at professional training courses.
- Extensive experience in advising biofuel and e-fuel distributors and manufacturers on the requirements arising from the national implementation of RED III
- Regulatory advice to companies in the automotive and supplier industries, particularly to general automotive importers
- Advice on product regulation, particularly regarding product requirements, sales bans, and recall orders
- Advice on public procurement law and representation of bidders in the energy and infrastructure sectors, particularly in connection with the submission of bids and the enforcement of claims under public procurement law in review proceedings
- Regular representation of managing directors in administrative criminal proceedings related to violations of administrative regulations, particularly in the areas of trade, waste, product, food, and money laundering law
- Advising companies in permit and other administrative proceedings, particularly regarding authorizations and concessions, as well as on market entry in Austria
- Extensive experience in conducting and providing legal support for regulatory due diligence reviews of national and international companies in the course of M&A transactions
