Johannes Bammer

Johannes Bammer is a counsel in the Employment Law Team of the firm and has several years of experience in advising national and international clients in all areas of employment and labour law and employment and labour law litigation. Furthermore, he focuses on data protection compliance.

Johannes first joined Binder Grösswang from 2011 to 2013 as legal intern. Since 2014 he has been working for Binder Grösswang initially as an associate, and since 2018 as an attorney at law. He studied law at the University of Vienna (Mag. iur. 2010), executive management at the FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW (MA 2013) and obtained his postgraduate degree at the University of California Los Angeles (LL.M. 2017).

  • Advising and representing an international IT company in labour court proceedings in connection with the defense against claims to additional remuneration and a counter-claim concerning the repayment of a commission advance (2017/2018);
  • First and second instance court representation of a restaurant franchise company with regard to the challenge of a termination by an employee (2017/2018)
  • Advising a retail company on problems relating to compliance with working time and rest regulations, in particular those of the collective bargaining agreement for white-collar employees in trade companies, and representing its management in administrative criminal proceedings (2018)
  • Advising a veterinary clinic on the design and contractual implementation of a working time model for 24-hour operations (2018)
  • Advising a telecommunications infrastructure company in connection with the establishment of a branch in Austria (2018)
