Livia Birnbaum is a legal assistant in the firm's Competition Law Team.

She focuses on

  • National and European antitrust and competition law,
  • National and European merger control 
  • Follow-on civil litigation

Livia Birnbaum graduated in law from the University of Innsbruck in 2025, having spent time abroad in Paris (Mag. iur.). During her studies, she gained experience at national and international institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Theory of Law and the Austrian Trade Commission in New York, as well as at law firms and universities. She is currently attending the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and has been working in the competition law team at Binder Grösswang since 2025.

Livia worked for several years as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Innsbruck.
