Mathias Drescher is Counsel in the Banking and Finance team. He advises in all areas of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He focuses on project finance, particularly real estate finance, as well as syndicated and acquisition finance, advising both Austrian and international borrowers and lenders. He has several years of experience structuring and executing complex transactions and, amongst other things, regularly advises clients in the renewable energy sector.

Mathias Drescher studied law at Karl-Franzens-University Graz and Sophia University Tokyo (Mag. iur. 2016). In summer 2013, he participated in the China Know-How Summer School at Peking University and Fudan University Shanghai. He previously worked at CERHA HEMPEL for more than five years as a legal associate and as an associate and additionally has in-house experience in commercial real estate finance in one of the leading Austrian banks.
