Attorney-at-Law Georg Wabl joins Binder Grösswang
Attorney-at-Law Georg Wabl, LL.M. (London) (30) has been part of Binder Grösswang’s restructuring team since December 2017.
Georg Wabl specializes in insolvency law and restructuring, providing counsel primarily on domestic and cross-border restructurings and reorganizations as well as in preparation for and during insolvency proceedings. He advises Austrian and international clients on all relevant issues, whatever their roles (companies in financial crisis, management, shareholders, banks and other creditors, and investors). He also works in the fields of distressed M&A and pre-insolvency reorganizations.
Prior to joining Binder Grösswang, Georg Wabl was employed with well-known commercial law firms and then worked as a research assistant during his LL.M. studies at Queen Mary University of London. He studied law at the University of Graz (Mag. iur. 2011) and is the author of articles on restructuring.
The addition of Georg Wabl to the restructuring team is in line with the strategic decision to further expand this growing field of practice within the firm.
