Binder Grösswang advises Better Collective on the acquisition of Austrian Start-Up “Sportfreunde”

Binder Grösswang, with Florian Khol as the lead partner, advised on the Austrian part of the transaction through which the Danish gaming company Better Collective acquired the Austrian betting information and content provider Sportfreunde. The latter’s business operations have included the development and operation of the websites wettfreunde.net, sportwettentest.net and fussballportal.de.

Better Collective acquired all the shares in Hebiva Beteiligungen GmbH and its 100% subsidiary Sportfreunde Informationsdienste GmbH from the previous shareholders, a fact which shows that the Austrian start-up scene has much to be proud of and that the work of Austrian company founders is recognized within Europe.
