Binder Grösswang Advises Scout24 on Acquisition of gebrauchtwagen.at
Binder Grösswang advised the Munich-based company AutoScout24 GmbH, a subsidiary of the Scout24 group, on the acquisition of the Austrian digital marketplace gebrauchtwagen.at Internetportale GmbH.
The project encompassed the acquisition of gebrauchtwagen.at Internetportale GmbH in the form of a share deal.
gebrauchtwagen.at Internetportale GmbH, based in Leibnitz, operates a used-car marketplace on the Internet platform www.gebrauchtwagen.at. With a client base of more than 2,300 automobile retailers, and currently averaging about 90,000 classifieds and four million users per month, Gebrauchtwagen.at occupies a leading position in the Austrian market.
Scout24 is a leading group of digital marketplaces for real estate and automobiles in Germany and other selected European countries, and operates under two brands: ImmobilienScout24 (for real estate) and AutoScout24 (for automobiles).
AutoScout24 is the largest online automobile marketplace Europe-wide. The acquisition of Gebrauchtwagen.at was made in line with the defined growth strategy of Scout24 AG.
BINDER GRÖSSWANG previously advised Scout24 AG on the acquisition of the Austrian real estate portal immodirekt.at in 2016 and on the acquisition of the Austrian real estate portal IMMOBILIEN.NET in 2014.
