New Attorney at Binder Grösswang: Philipp Spring
Attorney-at-Law Dr. Philipp Spring, LL.M. (44) joined Binder Grösswang’s IP/IT team at the beginning of September 2017.
Philipp Spring has years of experience in industrial property protection (trademark law, intellectual property law, unfair competition) as well as in IT law. He advises domestic and international clients on matters of trademark and intellectual property law, outsourcing projects, and data protection issues, and also practices in the fields of sports law and film law, focussing particularly on licensing rights and personal rights matters. He is the author of numerous publications in the aforementioned fields.
Adding another attorney to the IP/IT team was in line with a strategic decision to further expand this field of practice within the firm in order to meet the growing demands of the market.
Prior to joining Binder Grösswang, Philipp Spring worked at Kunz Schima Wallentin Rechtsanwälte GmbH and at Baker & McKenzie / Diwok Hermann Petsche Rechtsanwälte GmbH as an attorney at law.
Philipp Spring studied in Vienna (Mag.iur., 1996; Dr.iur., 2003) and in the USA (Master’s degree, University of Pennsylvania School of Law, 1998).
