New Attorney at Binder Grösswang: Anna Förstel
Anna Förstel (30) has been strengthening Binder Grösswang’s dispute resolution team as an attorney at law since the beginning of October.
“I am looking forward to the coming challenges and to continuing the exciting work for our clients in this new function,” Förstel says.
Förstel joined the dispute resolution team led by Binder Grösswang partners Christian Klausegger and Ingeborg Edel as an associate in 2017. She specializes in civil law and arbitration and advises domestic and international clients on disputes in the fields of company law and distribution law.
Förstel began her career as a research assistant to Ass.-Prof. Daniel Rubin at the Department of Civil Law of the University of Vienna’s Faculty of Law and subsequently worked as a member of the dispute resolution team at Baker & McKenzie for several years.
Förstel studied law at the University of Vienna (Mag. iur 2013) and completed post-graduate studies in law at University of Pennsylvania Law School (LL.M), during which time she also successfully completed the requirements for the Wharton Business and Law Certificate (WBLC). She is a member of both the Austrian and the New York State Bar Associations.
Anna Förstel is the author of numerous publications in the field of dispute resolution; most recently she co-authored an article on the effects of Brexit on international civil and civil procedural law together with Elisabeth Tretthahn-Wolski.
The addition of another attorney is an indication of Binder Grösswang's steady growth and continuing success.
