Binder Grösswang achieves top positions in the latest Chambers Europe rankings
In the recent Chambers Europe Rankings 2025, Binder Grösswang was able to further strengthen its position at the top and was pleased with an excellent ranking result from the internationally recognised legal publisher Chambers and Partners: 25 lawyers were awarded a total of 32 individual rankings, and 14 practice areas received an outstanding rating from Chambers.
Top rankings for the practice groups
- Six practice groups achieved the highest ranking of Band 1: Banking & Finance, Competition & EU Law, Corporate / M&A, Dispute Resolution, Restructuring & Insolvency and Tax.
- White-Collar Crime improved its ranking from Potential to Band 3.
- Binder Grösswang is particularly recommended in the areas of Capital Markets, Employment, Health Care & Life Sciences, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Public Law, Real Estate and White-Collar Crime.
Continued increases in individual rankings
- Counsel Sabine Apfl-Trompeter (Employment) has been recognised as a talent and has moved up from Not ranked to Potential.
- Partner Gottfried Gassner (Restructuring) rises to the top - from Band 2 to Top Rank Band 1.
- Partner Thomas Hartl (White-Collar Crime) moves up from his Potential ranking to the Up and Coming category and is new to the Partner ranks since 2025.
- Partner Regina Kröll (Healthcare) impressed with the development of the specialism and is now listed as a Potential for the first time.
- Partner Horst Lukanec (Employment) increased his ranking from Band 3 to Band 2.
- Partner Clemens Willvonseder (Tax) increased his ranking from Band 4 to Band 3
