Binder Grösswang Switches to iManage Cloud
At Binder Grösswang, iManage Cloud will, in future, ensure a higher degree of security in the firm’s document and email management. The key factor is that iManage offers several data centres within the European Union; this will enable Binder Grösswang to achieve optimum compliance with the provisions of the GDPR.
“We operate in a strongly regulated market for clients with extremely high expectations,” says Michael Kutschera, Managing Partner of Binder Grösswang.
Matteo Tassi, head of IT at Binder Grösswang, explains: "iManage Cloud not only fulfils our wish to have our data managed with optimum efficiency, utilizing a primary data centre in Frankfurt and a secondary location in Magdeburg, Germany; it also ensures that, in any event, our clients’ data remain inside the EU and our clients know that their data is being properly processed.”
For a long time, Binder Grösswang has relied on an on-site application of iManage Work. Switching to the cloud has definite advantages, however. iManage Cloud makes it possible to take advantage of product enhancements and innovations the moment they become available and thereby to ensure even greater data security for our clients.
“Our clients want the strictest and most comprehensive security platforms in existence,” adds Tassi. “iManage Cloud is at the cutting edge of the technology, with highly secure ISO 27001 data centres. The volume of resources that iManage has at its disposal for the security of these data centres is greater than what we can achieve internally.”
Binder Grösswang is working with iManage-Partner Phoenix Business Solutions on the migration to iManage Cloud, which is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
